The Eaton P580F3-30M-8K6 is a 30-meter DisplayPort 1.4 active optical cable (AOC) designed for high-bandwidth, long-distance video transmission in enterprise AV, control rooms, digital signage, and workstation extension environments. It uses fiber-optic transmission to maintain signal integrity across long runs where copper DisplayPort cables would suffer attenuation or EMI interference.
It supports up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz (32.4 Gbps DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth) with HDR support and 4:2:2 chroma subsampling for high-fidelity imaging. The cable is unidirectional and draws power from the connected device, eliminating the need for an external power source.
