Overview

The Eaton SR42UBG is a fully enclosed 42-unit-height server rack enclosure that’s purpose-built for network closets, computer rooms or enterprise data-centre environments where you want secure gear housing plus immediate front-panel visibility via a clear acrylic window. Its “standard-depth” footprint is sized to accommodate typical rack equipment depths while still rolling through commercial doors and fitting tight aisles. Constructed with heavy-duty steel and a black powder-coat finish, this enclosure offers durability and a clean professional look.One of its distinguishing features is the full-length front door with a shatter-resistant acrylic window — allowing you to visually check equipment status without unlocking the door or opening side-panels, which improves both security and serviceability. The cabinet includes locking reversible front and split rear doors, removable locking side-panels and an open-bottom design accommodating cable routing from beneath. Venting is built-in on the rear door and top panel to support airflow management in hot-aisle/cold-aisle designs.Internally, the vertical mounting rails are adjustable and support equipment up to approximately 37″ (≈940 mm) deep, giving flexibility to mount deeper servers, switches and shelves. The unit ships partially assembled with pre-installed casters and leveling feet so you can roll it into position and then level and bolt it down.
