Overview
The Eaton SRFFD4224 is a SmartRack fan-integrated front door kit designed for standard-width 42U rack enclosures used in enterprise IT rooms, colocation facilities, and edge infrastructure deployments. It combines enclosure airflow enhancement and intake air filtration into a single front-door assembly for high-density rack environments.
The unit includes three fan panels with four 120V fans per panel for a total of 12 integrated cooling fans. Each fan delivers up to 93 CFM at 60 Hz to improve front-to-rear airflow across servers, switches, storage arrays, and other rack-mounted equipment. Integrated dust filters help reduce airborne contaminants entering the enclosure.
The SRFFD4224 is engineered specifically for Eaton SmartRack standard-width 42U enclosures and installs using included toolless mounting hardware. Heavy-duty cold-rolled steel construction supports continuous operation in commercial and data-center environments. Standard NEMA 5-15P power connections simplify integration with existing PDUs and UPS systems.
This model is suitable for deployments requiring increased rack airflow without dedicated in-row cooling systems. It is not intended for wide-rack cabinets or installations requiring intelligent thermal monitoring and variable-speed fan management.
