Overview

The Eaton SRVRTBAR45 is a vertical cable management accessory engineered for 45U rack‑mount installations. It is used by network and infrastructure engineers to organize and segregate structured cabling and accessory hardware alongside a rack enclosure, helping maintain serviceability and reduce strain on cabling terminations.

This product consists of two full‑height steel vertical management bars finished in black powder coat, designed to mount adjacent to the vertical posts of a 45U‑height rack. The bars provide dedicated vertical mounting space for cable runs, Zero‑U PDUs, and other accessories without consuming U‑spaces normally reserved for active equipment.

It installs in standard EIA‑310 compliant 19‑inch rack enclosures using tool‑less keyhole slots, which enable rapid attachment and repositioning during configuration and maintenance. This design supports cleaner cable routing and improves overall rack airflow by segregating data and power cabling from device mounting rails.

The SRVRTBAR45 integrates into structured rack ecosystems alongside patch panels, PDUs, and switches, placing vertical management channels on both sides of the rack. The accessory’s height matches the rack’s full usable U‑space, aligning with pre‑installed cable management features on compatible enclosures.

In practical deployment, these bars are used to route backbone fiber and high‑density copper runs on either side of a 45U server cabinet, allowing technicians to maintain clear front‑to‑rear access to installed equipment and improve service loops without interfering with active device cabling.

This accessory is not a weight‑bearing structural rack frame; it should not be used to support heavy PDUs or equipment without verifying rail load capacity. It is also not designed as a horizontal organizer — separate solutions are required for mid‑plane cable routing.
