Overview

The Eaton SRW10US is a 10U wall‑mount rack enclosure designed to secure and organize standard 19‑inch rack equipment in environments with limited floor space. It is deployed by network and infrastructure engineers in wiring closets, branch offices, retail sites, and telecom spaces to provide a compact, lockable enclosure for switches, patch panels, small UPS units, and other rack‑mount devices.

Constructed from heavy‑duty steel with a black powder‑coated finish, this cabinet supports a static load capacity suitable for mounting IT equipment while maintaining structural integrity on wall installations. Vented panels on the front, top, and bottom promote passive airflow, reducing heat build‑up for enclosed devices.

The unit mounts securely to vertical wall surfaces using included hardware and features a reversible lockable front door to adapt to space constraints. Vertical mounting rails adjust to support equipment up to approximately 20.5 in (≈ 520 mm) deep, enabling installation of moderately sized rack gear without additional shelving. Top and bottom cable access ports facilitate structured cabling and neat installations.

In practical deployment, the SRW10US houses networking equipment and small UPS systems in space‑constrained sites where a full rack is impractical. Its swing‑away design simplifies access for installation and maintenance without requiring disassembly of the enclosure.

This enclosure is not suitable for heavy server installations exceeding its load rating or for deep equipment beyond supported rail adjustment. It also lacks IP‑rated environmental sealing and should not be used where such protection is required.
