Overview

The Eaton SRW10USG is a compact wall‑mount rack designed to house standard 19‑inch rackmount IT equipment where floor space is restricted, such as wiring closets, retail back rooms, classrooms, and small office environments. It solves space constraints by lifting equipment off the floor and consolidating networking gear within a secure, enclosed cabinet.

This enclosure supports up to 10 rack units (10U) of equipment and accommodates devices with depths up to 20.5 in (521 mm). With a static load rating of 200 lb (90.7 kg) and four vertical mounting rails, it can support network switches, patch panels, small servers, and associated cabling in compact edge deployments.

Installation is suitable for network wiring closets, IDF/edge closets, retail IT zones, and branch offices that require wall‑mounted infrastructure to clear floor space and improve accessibility. The shallow profile makes it preferable where depth is constrained compared to a full cabinet.

The SRW10USG integrates with standard EIA‑310‑E rack equipment and includes features like hinged doors with locking hardware and vented panels for passive airflow through installed gear. Its design supports square and 12‑24 threaded hardware.

In practical deployments, this unit is often used to house edge switches, patch panels, PoE injectors, and small UPS units in retail or branch environments where space and access for maintenance are limited. Hinged wall mounting simplifies cabling and rear access without removing gear from the rack.

This enclosure is not suitable for heavy server loads, deep telecom gear (>20.5 in), or environments requiring seismic anchoring or raised‑floor cabling infrastructure.
