The Eaton SMART2500XLHG is a tower-type, medical-grade line-interactive UPS unit designed for engineers procuring reliable backup power for sensitive equipment in patient-care zones. It supports a full load of 1920 W (2200 VA) and meets the UL 60601-1 3rd edition standard for use in clinical and diagnostic environments. The unit includes full line isolation (via an internal low-impedance isolation transformer with Faraday shielding) to reduce cumulative leakage current below 100 µA, making it suitable for hospital or medical-vicinity installations. With automatic voltage regulation (AVR) correcting input voltage from 83 V to 143 V back to usable 120 V without switching to battery, it addresses brown-outs and over-voltages while preserving runtime.
