Overview
The Eaton WEBCARD-M3 is a Gigabit network management card designed for remote monitoring and control of compatible Eaton UPS systems and PDUs across enterprise and distributed IT environments. It enables secure network-based power infrastructure management for data centers, edge deployments, branch offices, healthcare, education, and industrial IT environments.
The card provides 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connectivity with support for HTTPS, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, SSH, Syslog, LDAP, RADIUS, and IPv4/IPv6 networking. It enables remote UPS monitoring, automated event notifications, environmental monitoring integration, and controlled shutdown management for connected systems.
The WEBCARD-M3 supports Eaton Brightlayer Data Centers software and Intelligent Power Manager platforms for centralized power management and infrastructure visibility. Its cybersecurity-focused architecture includes secure boot functionality, user-configurable firewall controls, TLS encryption, and compliance with UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards.
The card installs into compatible Eaton UPS and PDU communication slots and is intended for organizations requiring remote management, alerting, automation, and improved power-event response capabilities. It is not designed for standalone Ethernet switching or general-purpose network routing deployments.
