EXTREME NETWORKS INC 97007 – Technical Support Service Contract
Overview
The Extreme Networks 97007 is an enterprise-grade hardware maintenance and technical support contract engineered for high-availability data centers, core distribution layouts, and mission-critical network edges. This service plan provides an ExtremeWorks 4-Hour Advanced Hardware Replacement (EW 4HR AHR) lifecycle support model. Designed to safeguard operational infrastructure and minimize structural network downtime for IT procurement and engineering teams, this contract guarantees rapid mitigation paths for deployed physical switches, modules, and hardware appliances across dense corporate networks.
This service tier delivers a strict 4-hour Advanced Hardware Replacement (AHR) response window. Following remote diagnostic triage, case verification, and confirmation of a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) failure by the Global Technical Assistance Center, a replacement component or core unit is immediately expedited directly to the contracted facility site within 4 hours. Alongside prioritized hardware logistics, the subscription activates unrestricted 24x7x365 access to the Extreme Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) for emergency troubleshooting, configuration diagnostics, and rapid case escalation tracking. Additionally, it grants full entitlement to critical major and minor operational software release downloads, underlying feature modifications, and immediate vulnerability hotfixes. This SKU is a base service contract prefix/authorization; it does not include onsite engineering labor, nor should it be ordered as standalone physical hardware infrastructure.
