The Fortinet FAP-U231F-A is an advanced WiFi 6 (802.11ax) indoor access point designed to deliver high-speed, reliable wireless connectivity for offices, campuses, retail stores, and enterprise networks. Featuring dual-band MU-MIMO technology, this AP ensures efficient bandwidth management, reduced latency, and seamless connectivity for multiple devices. The built-in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radio enhances IoT and location-based services, making it ideal for modern smart environments. Integrated Fortinet Security Fabric support ensures secure, scalable, and easily managed deployments. This enterprise class Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor AP provides three radios as well as features such as OFDMA and dual 1 Gbps Ethernet ports for PoE diversity. The APs can be configured for dual 5 GHz band access while still providing coverage for devices on the 2.4 GHz band, or can be configured to offer dedicated scanning. The integrated BLE radio can be used for beacons and locationing applications.
