The HPE 793443‑001 (also E7Y09A) is a 16 Gb Fibre Channel short-wave SFP+ transceiver module designed to deliver high-performance, short-range connectivity over multimode fiber. Featuring a Lucent-type LC connector, it supports links up to 100 m on OM3 fiber and approximately 125 m on OM4. Certified for use with HPE /StoreFabric and ProLiant platforms, this plug-and-play module is ideal for SAN uplinks, storage arrays, and server-to-switch fiber connections in data center environments.

It features digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) for real-time monitoring of optical power and temperature. The Lucent fiber connector is optimized for HPE HPEstorage environments.
