Overview
The HPE 817746-B21 is a server network adapter offering two 10 Gb/s RJ-45 (10GBASE-T) ports in a FlexibleLOM 562FLR-T form-factor, designed for HPE Gen10 ProLiant servers. Each port can deliver full line-rate traffic and the adapter delivers up to ~40 Gb/s aggregate bi-directional bandwidth, enabling high-throughput uplinks for virtualised hosts or storage-dense servers. It uses Cat6A/Cat7 copper structured cabling and supports advanced Ethernet features such as link aggregation, flow control, and various QoS standards. With a low power draw (~10.5 W typical) and RJ-45 convenience, it is suited for data-centre or enterprise compute nodes requiring high-speed copper uplinks without fibre optics.
