Overview

The HPE 827607‑001 is a converged network adapter (CNA) designed for server infrastructure engineers working with mixed Ethernet, iSCSI and Fibre Channel traffic on high‑density server platforms. It provides dual ports capable of 10 Gbps (and in some revision up to 25 Gbps) on SFP+ or 10GBASE‑T PHY, using a PCI Express 3.0 ×8 interface. This adapter allows servers to connect to both storage networks and data networks via a single card, reducing cabling and simplifying deployment in data‑centre and virtualization‑heavy environments. It installs into server PCIe slots and integrates with HPE ProLiant systems and the StoreFabric ecosystem, making it suitable for hyper‑converged, converged infrastructure, and server‑to‑storage back‑end connectivity.
