Overview
The HPE 874795-B21 is an internal server kit that enables installation of a second CPU and activates associated I/O pathways in select HPE ProLiant Gen10 systems. This kit ensures full utilization of the dual-processor architecture by unlocking memory channels, PCIe lanes and integrated networking when transitioning from single to dual CPU configurations. It includes adapter modules or interconnect hardware that integrate with the server’s riser/back-plane design and permits balanced traffic across the platform during virtualization, high-throughput computing or storage-intensive workloads.
