Its “Base” model serves as a standalone switch, but can scale non-disruptively via the optional Full Fabric license to integrate with larger SAN fabrics, supporting up to 24 enabled ports via ports-on-demand Designed for ease of deployment, the switch offers low latency (~700 ns), broad compatibility with existingHPE B-Series environments, and backward support for legacy infrastructure. For enhanced management and visibility, the Power Pack+ software suite can be added, unlocking advanced features such as Fabric Vision, ISL trunking, Fabric Watch, performance monitoring, zoning, and management automation via web tools, SNMP, and API
