Overview
The HPE E7X97A is a quad‑port 1 Gb/s RJ‑45 Ethernet adapter module intended for deployment with HPE 3PAR StoreServ 7000 series storage arrays and compatible platforms. It enables four individual Gigabit LAN interfaces to support management traffic, replication paths or dedicated storage network segments, offering link aggregation (LACP), VLAN tagging and IEEE 802.1p QoS for traffic prioritisation. Because it is designed as a compact plugin module for the array’s controller enclosure, it integrates directly into the storage fabric and simplifies the wiring for storage‑specific networking roles.
