The HPE J9532A (model 5412‑92G‑PoE+‑2XG v2 zl) is a high-density, Layer‑4 managed switch designed for enterprise and campus environments. It features 92 autosensing Gigabit RJ‑45 PoE+ ports along with dual 10 GbE SFP+ uplinks. Powered by HPE ProVision ASIC and licensed with Premium software, this switch delivers advanced QoS, robust security, and flexible PoE deployment. Ideal for powering a large number of access-edge devices—such as APs, IP phones, or cameras—while enabling high-speed uplinks and modular deployment flexibility.
Features
Built on the modular 5400 zl chassis platform, the J9532A provides enterprise-class flexibility with expandable I/O via optional switch modules. Its PoE+ ports supply up to 30 W per port, supported by redundant 1500 W PoE+ power supplies for up to 2760 W budget. The dual 10 GbE SFP+ uplinks facilitate high-speed interconnectivity across data center or aggregation layers. Firmware supports full Layer 3 protocols such as RIP, OSPFv2/v3, static IPv4/IPv6 routing, and multicast control (PIM-SM, IGMPv3) Access and management are secured via SNMP v1–v3, RMON, SSH, SSL, TACACS+, RADIUS, HTTP(S), or Telnet interfaces.
