The HPE JD108B is an XFP form‑factor optical transceiver module intended for network infrastructure engineers deploying 10 Gb Ethernet links over single‑mode fiber. It supports a wavelength of 1310 nm and a reach up to 10 km on 9/125 µm single‑mode fiber, solving the challenge of long‑haul server‑to‑switch or switch‑to‑switch links without optical regeneration.
