The HPE JW170A (Aruba AP‑215) is an indoor Wi‑Fi access point designed for enterprise WLAN deployments in offices, classroom environments or hospitality venues. It supports dual radios—one in the 2.4 GHz band and one in the 5 GHz band—enabling up to 450 Mb/s on 2.4 GHz and up to 1.3 Gb/s on 5 GHz (with 3×3 MIMO and three spatial streams) according to the 802.11ac standard. The device mounts to ceilings or walls and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installation in standard networking racks or drop‑tile ceilings.
