Overview
The HPE JW190A (Aruba Instant IAP‑103) is an indoor wireless access point designed for medium‑density deployments such as offices, classrooms or retail venues. It supports dual‑band operation (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) using a 2×2:MIMO configuration on each band, offering a combined wireless throughput of up to approximately 300 Mb/s. The unit features integrated antennas and a Gigabit Ethernet uplink with Power over Ethernet support, enabling flexible ceiling or wall mounting and simple deployment without DC adapters. It can operate in Instant mode where a standalone unit acts as a controller or in managed mode under Aruba Mobility Controllers for unified policy enforcement. The JW190A is ideal for business or campus environments where high‑reliability WiFi connectivity and seamless roaming are required across moderate client densities.
