Overview
The HPE P18669-001 is a dual-port SFP28 network adapter designed for modern data-centre servers requiring high-speed uplinks and future-proof infrastructure. Each port supports 10 Gb/s or 25 Gb/s link speeds, allowing deployment on existing 10 Gb/s networks and seamless migration to 25 Gb/s. The adapter installs in a PCIe ×8 (or compatible) slot, conserving other expansion slots and enabling high-density I/O in rack and blade servers. In virtualised environments, this SmartNIC offers full line-rate traffic per port and supports offloads such as SR-IOV and overlay tunnelling, reducing CPU load and boosting I/O efficiency.
