The HPE P9H32A is a short-wave 32 Gb/s Fibre Channel SFP28 transceiver designed for enterprise SAN and storage network environments. It supports link distances up to 100 m over OM4 multimode fiber using an 850 nm VCSEL laser and duplex LC connector, delivering high-speed data transfer in high-density storage fabric environments. The module fits standard SFP28 slots and supports digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, making it suitable for rack and chassis SAN switches, storage arrays and directors. It is optimized for environments where backwards compatibility with 16 Gb/s/8 Gb/s Fibre Channel links is required.
