The HPE R3J15A is a mounting accessory intended for campus Wi-Fi deployments. It’s designed to secure certain Aruba access points to suspended‐ceiling grids using flat 9/16″ type A ceiling rails. If you’re installing ceiling-mounted APs in an office floor or educational building with drop-ceiling panels and need a certified bracket that properly attaches to the T-bar rails, this kit handles that requirement. It allows the AP to be rail-mounted, reliably secured, and aligned correctly for RF performance and maintenance access.The kit fits drop-ceiling infrastructures where the panels rest on 9/16″ width grid rails (flat type).
