Overview
The HPE R4H03A (also known as Aruba AP-518) is an indoor, hardened wireless access point built for environments where durability matters — such as industrial zones, warehouses, freezers, stadium suites or challenging campus facilities. It supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with a 4×4:4 spatial-stream radio configuration (in one band) and external antenna connectors, delivering up to ~4.8 Gbps aggregate capacity under ideal conditions. With ruggedised design (industrial temperature tolerance, sealed enclosure, external antenna flexibility) it fits scenarios where a standard office AP would be at risk. Typical applications include manufacturing floors, large open-plan spaces with high client density, indoor-harsh-environment facilities, or upgraded enterprise wireless fabrics where device density, mobility and throughput are rising.
