It functions exceptionally as a core or aggregation switch in a campus architecture or as a top-of-rack (ToR) or end-of-row (EoR) switch in a data center. The primary role of this switch is to provide high-density, line-rate 40/100GbE connectivity to handle the escalating demands of mobile, cloud, and IoT traffic. Built on the advanced AOS-CX network operating system, this switch offers a modern, microservices-based architecture that enhances automation and simplifies complex network tasks. Its high-density configuration of 32 QSFP28 ports provides a massive 6.4 Tbps of non-blocking switching capacity and up to 2,000 Mpps of forwarding throughput.
