It offers computer system integrators and IT hardware procurement teams a highly reliable, cost-efficient computing core for large-scale client architecture deployments.

Fabricated on a 14nm lithography path utilizing the Coffee Lake-S microarchitecture framework, the processor features 6 physical cores and 6 sequential execution threads. The silicon ticks at a 2.80GHz baseline frequency and relies on Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 to drive operational clock speeds up to a 4.00GHz maximum acceleration point. Backed by a 9MB Intel Smart Cache and an 8 GT/s Direct Media Interface (DMI3), the processor reduces local system processing latency during simultaneous application management.
