Overview
Intellinet 473972 is a duplex single-mode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-speed optical network connections between switches, patch panels, servers, media converters, and other fiber-enabled equipment. It is suitable for enterprise networks, data centers, telecommunications rooms, and campus backbone installations.
The cable features LC to SC UPC connectors and OS2 9/125 µm single-mode fiber for long-distance, high-bandwidth transmission. Its duplex construction supports simultaneous transmit and receive communication, making it suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications and higher.
Built with a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket and ceramic ferrules, the cable provides low insertion loss, high return loss, and immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI). The yellow jacket simplifies identification in structured cabling installations.
The cable is intended for single-mode fiber deployments requiring LC-to-SC connectivity. It is not suitable for multimode fiber installations or equipment requiring different connector types.
