Overview:

The Intellinet 505130 is a Cat6 modular inline coupler (gender changer) with two 8P8C (RJ45) female ports, enabling the secure connection of two network cables to extend their total length .

Network engineers and IT technicians use this adapter to extend network runs without installing new, longer cables, maintaining data integrity and signal quality. It is specifically designed for use with shielded (FTP) Cat6 twisted-pair cabling in structured cabling environments .

The coupler meets Cat6 performance standards (ANSI/TIA/EIA 568 B.2-1) and features 50-micron gold-plated contacts for superior, corrosion-free conductivity .
