Overview
Intellinet 508988 is an industrial Gigabit media converter and PoE+ injector designed to convert copper Ethernet connections to fiber connectivity while providing power to compatible PoE devices. It is used in industrial networks, security systems, wireless deployments, and edge infrastructure requiring extended Ethernet reach.
The unit provides one 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 port and one SFP slot for 1000Base-X optical transceiver modules. The integrated PoE injector function delivers up to 30 W of power for compatible IEEE 802.3af/at devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP equipment.
Designed for industrial deployment, the converter features an IP40-rated metal housing, DIN-rail mounting support, redundant 48?56 VDC power inputs, surge protection, and operation across -40?C to 85?C environments.
Suitable for rugged fiber-to-copper network expansion where PoE delivery is required. It is not intended for managed switching applications or environments requiring multiple Ethernet ports.
