Overview :
The Intellinet 513548 is a 16-port Cat5e UTP patch panel designed for structured copper cabling in Ethernet networks. It provides a centralized termination point for horizontal network cabling, simplifying cable management and maintenance in IT rooms, wiring closets, and data center environments.
Supporting 10Base-T, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet applications, the panel features 16 RJ45 ports with gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission. It accepts both solid and stranded 22–26 AWG conductors and is compatible with both 110 and Krone punch-down tools for installation flexibility.
Its 1U, 19-inch rack-mount design makes it suitable for enterprise racks, branch offices, telecommunications rooms, and edge network deployments where organized cable termination is required.
The patch panel is intended for unshielded Cat5e cabling infrastructures. It is not suitable for shielded cabling systems or installations requiring Cat6/Cat6A performance.
