Overview
Intellinet 515832 is a duplex multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for connecting fiber switches, patch panels, media converters, and other optical networking equipment. It is suitable for enterprise networks, telecommunications rooms, structured cabling systems, and data center environments requiring reliable multimode fiber connectivity.
The cable uses OM1 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber with SC UPC connectors on both ends. Its duplex configuration provides separate transmit and receive paths, supporting Gigabit Ethernet applications and short-distance optical network connections.
The fiber construction contains no metallic components, allowing deployment in environments affected by electromagnetic interference (EMI). UPC-polished connectors improve surface contact quality and return loss performance for stable optical connections.
