Intellinet 516976 is a duplex single-mode fiber optic patch cable designed for connecting switches, patch panels, optical transceivers, media converters, servers, and other fiber-enabled networking equipment. It is suitable for enterprise networks, telecommunications rooms, campus backbones, and data center deployments requiring reliable long-distance optical connectivity.
The cable features OS2 9/125 µm single-mode fiber with LC UPC and ST UPC connectors. Its duplex construction provides dedicated transmit and receive paths, supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet and higher-bandwidth optical networking applications over long distances.
Built with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket and non-metallic fiber construction, the cable offers immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI) while improving installation safety in indoor environments. UPC-polished connectors help minimize return loss and maintain reliable optical performance.
This cable is intended for OS2 single-mode fiber installations requiring LC-to-ST connectivity. It is not suitable for multimode fiber networks or equipment requiring different connector interfaces.
