The INTELLINET 522533 Gigabit PCI Express Network Card is a high-performance internal expansion adapter designed to add high-speed wired Ethernet connectivity to desktop computers and servers. Built for system builders, IT technicians, and workstation users, it provides a reliable hardware upgrade to restore or enhance network performance over standard Cat5e or Cat6 copper cabling without needing fiber infrastructure.

Utilizing a single PCI Express lane (x1), the card delivers auto-negotiating speeds of 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1000 Mbps. When operating in full-duplex mode, it achieves bandwidth rates up to 2 Gbps, making it well-suited for data-intensive applications such as CAD/CAM rendering, database queries, and large file transfers. Integrated features include Wake-on-LAN (WOL) for remote system power management, crossover auto-correction, and 9 kB jumbo frame support.
