Overview

The INTELLINET 561877 is an unmanaged 24-port Gigabit Ethernet switch equipped with two dedicated Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) optical expansion slots. It eliminates enterprise backbone bottlenecks by providing high-density copper access ports alongside unshared SFP uplinks, allowing long-distance fiber interconnections to secondary switches, core routers, or remote server arrays without sacrificing any of the 24 standard RJ45 ports.

Featuring a non-blocking 52 Gbps switching fabric, 512 KB packet buffer memory, and an 8K MAC address table, the unit maintains full wire-speed data throughput via a store-and-forward architecture. It integrates IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) and Green Ethernet power-saving mechanisms to lower power consumption by deactivating unused ports and dynamically adjusting power output based on cable length.
