INTELLINET 562379 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE Switch

Overview :

The INTELLINET 562379 is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ switch designed to provide both network connectivity and power over a single Ethernet cable. It supports IEEE 802.3at/af standards, making it suitable for powering IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other PoE-enabled devices in business, surveillance, and branch office deployments.

The switch delivers Gigabit performance across all eight RJ45 ports with a total PoE power budget of 60 W and up to 30 W per port. It incorporates Self-Healing Network (Powered Device Monitor) functionality that automatically restarts unresponsive PoE devices, helping maintain network availability without manual intervention.

For surveillance applications, the switch features selectable PoE Extend Mode, allowing data and power transmission up to 250 m (820 ft.) at 10 Mbps. A VLAN isolation mode improves network security by isolating ports 2?8 while maintaining communication with the uplink port. Its fanless metal enclosure enables quiet operation in desktop or cabinet installations.

The 562379 is compatible with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at powered devices and standard Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure. It is intended for unmanaged Layer 2 networking and is not suitable for deployments requiring Layer 3 routing, advanced management, or PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) power delivery.
