Overview

The INTELLINET 721066 (IPP-19C648-1U) is an ultra-high-density 48-port Cat6 UTP patch panel designed for enterprise data centers, telecom rooms, and high-density rack deployments. It consolidates 48 unshielded RJ45 connections into a single 1U space, doubling standard port density and maximizing usable rack real estate.

Constructed with an anodized aluminum frame, cold-rolled SPCC steel bracket, and 50 micro-inch gold-plated contacts, it supports 23 to 26 AWG solid conductor cables. The unit features 180° top-entry punch-down IDC blocks compatible with Krone termination tools, standard T568A/T568B color coding, and a removable rear cable-management bar. It is engineered for applications demanding high power and bandwidth, including 10 Gbps Ethernet (up to 55 m) and 4PPoE / IEEE 802.3bt (up to 90W).

Designed for standard 19-inch equipment racks and enclosures compliant with IEC 60297 / EIA 310. It is incompatible with shielded (STP/FTP) cabling setups requiring grounded metal shielding or non-standard non-19-inch mounting environments.
