Overview :

The Intellinet 790055 is a pack of 100 Category 5e RJ45 modular plugs designed for terminating stranded UTP Ethernet cables in structured cabling installations. These 8P8C connectors are intended for assembling or replacing patch cables used in enterprise networks, telecommunications rooms, server racks, and data center environments.

Each modular plug features 15 micro-inch gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts for reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance. The two-prong contact design is optimized for stranded conductors ranging from 24 to 26 AWG and fits standard round UTP network cables. The connectors comply with Category 5e cabling standards and are backward compatible with Category 3, 4, and 5 applications.

The connectors are suitable for network cable fabrication and maintenance in enterprise LANs, branch offices, educational institutions, and structured cabling deployments where standard RJ45 Ethernet connectivity is required. Their standard 8P8C design ensures compatibility with Ethernet switches, routers, patch panels, IP phones, and other RJ45-equipped devices.

These modular plugs are intended for unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) stranded cable. They are not designed for shielded Ethernet cabling or solid-conductor cable installations.
