The Lenovo LENOWLBASEMTR is a specialized Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) on Windows bundle that integrates Lenovo’s specialized compute architecture with Owl Labs’ 360-degree smart video technology. This “BASE” configuration is distinguished by the inclusion of the ThinkSmart IP Controller, which utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for connectivity. This allows for cleaner, long-distance cable runs (up to 100 meters) between the compute unit and the table controller, making it the ideal choice for larger rooms or complex architectural layouts where traditional USB cabling is insufficient.

The system is powered by the ThinkSmart Core Gen 2, featuring an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 vPro processor. This dedicated compute hub is preloaded with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise and designed for 24/7 reliability, providing a secure, high-performance foundation for hybrid meetings. It is paired with the Meeting Owl 4+, an all-in-one device that provides a 360-degree 4K panoramic view of the room. The Owl 4+ uses an AI-powered Intelligence System to automatically shift focus to active speakers, creating a “face-to-face” experience for remote participants.

Designed for scalability, the LENOWLBASEMTR can be expanded with additional Meeting Owls, Owl Bars, or expansion microphones to cover larger boardrooms. The kit includes the Lenovo Link Box, which facilitates the PoE connection to the IP Controller, ensuring a streamlined “single-cable” desktop aesthetic. Managed through Lenovo ThinkSmart Manager and Owl Labs Nest, IT administrators gain real-time visibility and remote troubleshooting capabilities for the entire meeting room environment.
