Overview
The NETGEAR AXM763-10000S is a 10GBASE-LRM SFP+ transceiver designed for extending 10 Gigabit Ethernet over existing legacy multimode fiber infrastructure without requiring expensive cable replacement. It delivers 10GbE connectivity up to 220 meters over OM1/OM2 62.5/125µm fiber and up to 260 meters over OM3/OM4 50/125µm fiber using a 1310nm wavelength with LC duplex connectors. This hot-swappable module fits NETGEAR M4300, M5300, M7100, and M7300 series switches, making it ideal for data center interconnects, campus backbone upgrades, and extending 10GbE to buildings with older fiber runs. The transceiver supports digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics of temperature, voltage, and optical power levels.
