The Opengear OM1304-4E is an all-in-one, compact Operations Manager appliance purpose-built for edge locations, remote branch offices, retail sites, and space-constrained enclosures. By combining 4 software-selectable RJ45 RS-232 serial console ports, an integrated 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch, and dual GbE/SFP combo uplinks into a single fanless 1U chassis, the OM1304-4E delivers resilient Smart Out-of-Band (Smart OOB™) management without needing separate switching hardware.

Powered by an ARM Cortex-A53 quad-core 1.6 GHz processor with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32 GB flash storage, and an embedded TPM 2.0 cryptoprocessor, the OM1304-4E natively supports modern edge automation workflows including Python scripting and Docker containerized applications. Managed centrally via Opengear Lighthouse software, network teams can remotely monitor, troubleshoot, and orchestrate critical IT infrastructure during primary network outages.
