The QNAP QXG-100G2SF-E810 is an ultra-high-speed dual-port 100GbE network expansion card built on the Intel Ethernet Controller E810. Designed for enterprise data centers and all-flash storage environments, it utilizes a PCIe Gen 4 x16 interface to provide up to 200Gbps of total throughput. Systems engineers integrate this card into high-end NAS units or Windows/Linux servers to eliminate bandwidth bottlenecks in I/O-intensive virtualization and large-scale backup operations.
Technical capability is defined by its support for Forward Error Correction (FEC), which ensures reliable data transmission over noisy or long-distance fiber channels by correcting bit errors at the receiving end.
