The Ruckus 10G-SFPP-TWX-P-0501 is a 5-metre passive twinax direct-attach SFP+ cable assembly designed for short-reach 10 GbE connections within racks and across adjacent switches or storage modules. It addresses the need for cost-effective, low-latency interconnects between 10 GbE SFP+ ports in data-centre top-of-rack (ToR) or server-to-switch links, offering a fixed length, plug-and-play solution without separate transceiver modules and fibre/copper cabling. Suitable for deployments where the two endpoints are in the same rack or neighbouring racks, it avoids the complexity and cost of separate SFP+ modules plus patch cables.
