Overview :
The RUCKUS 901-R550-WW00 is a dual-band indoor access point designed for enterprise and branch networks that require Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) connectivity and IoT device integration. It supports concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios with a 2×2:2 spatial-stream configuration, delivering up to approximately 1.77 Gbps combined PHY rate and handling up to 512 clients simultaneously. It includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports capable of powering via IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+, as well as onboard Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee radios for converged Wi-Fi and IoT deployments. Suitable for medium-density venues such as classrooms, hospitality common areas, and branch offices, it supports controller-based and controllerless management through cloud, virtual or physical platforms. Deployment can be ceiling or wall mounted in indoor environments where advanced antenna patterns and channel optimization are required to extend coverage and manage interference.
