The Ruckus 9U1-R850-US00 is a high-capacity Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor access point designed for ultra-high-density environments such as stadiums, auditoriums, and large enterprise campuses. It supports 12 spatial streams—8×8:8 in the 5 GHz band and 4×4:4 in the 2.4 GHz band—enabling a combined maximum PHY rate of 5.9 Gbps. The device utilizes advanced technologies like Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA), Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO), and Target Wake Time (TWT) to efficiently manage up to 1,024 concurrent client connections. The R850 features a multi-gigabit Ethernet port (1/2.5/5 Gbps) and a 1 Gbps port, ensuring robust backhaul capacity. It supports various controller options, including RUCKUS Cloud™, SmartZone, ZoneDirector, and standalone mode, offering flexibility in deployment and management.
