Overview :

The RUCKUS ICX7850-48C-E2 is a fixed-form-factor, rack-mount core/aggregation Ethernet switch designed for enterprise campus and data-centre networks. It enables network engineers to deploy up to 48 copper 1/10 GbE (10GBASE-T) ports and 8 QSFP28 40/100 GbE uplink or stacking ports, simplifying consolidation at high bandwidth. The unit supports full Layer 2/Layer 3 routing protocols (static, RIP, OSPF, BGP, VRF) and advanced features such as multi-chassis trunking (MCT) and campus fabric architecture, making it suitable for deployment in distributed wiring closets or central racks. With stacking capability of up to 12 units and aggregated stacking bandwidth up to 9.6 Tb/s, it is built for scale in campus cores or edge data-centre pods. The dual hot-swappable power supplies and reversible airflow options allow integration into existing rack and cooling infrastructure.
