Overview :
The Ruckus E40G-QSFP-LR4 is a QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable) transceiver designed for 40 Gigabit Ethernet links over single-mode fibre. It supports the 40GBASE-LR4 standard and uses a duplex LC connector interface and SMF (single-mode fibre). The module operates at a wavelength range of approximately 1264.5-1337.5 nm and supports link distances up to 10 km on appropriate single-mode fibre. The small form factor allows it to be hot-pluggable in switches and routers that support the QSFP+ MSA. It is suited for backbone aggregation, high-speed inter-rack or cross-data-centre links, especially when using the Ruckus ICX series of switches. The product is compatible with Ruckus networking infrastructure and fits into mixed-brand fibre-optic environments when QSFP+ MSA compliance is maintained.
