The StarTech AS445C-POE-INJECTOR is a high-power, industrial-grade midspan injector designed to provide both high-speed data and power to remote Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices. Engineered for extreme environments and high-bandwidth applications, it supports the IEEE 802.3bt (Type 4) standard, delivering up to 90W of power to high-draw equipment such as PTZ security cameras, high-performance wireless access points, and building automation sensors.
This injector features an industrial-strength aluminum housing and is rated for operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C. It utilizes a terminal block power input (48-56V DC), allowing for integration into industrial power systems and providing redundancy options. The device is designed for easy integration with standard hardware, featuring a DIN-rail mountable chassis and a compact footprint that fits into small control cabinets or utility boxes.
The AS445C-POE-INJECTOR ensures network reliability with integrated ESD and surge protection. It is a “plug-and-play” solution that requires no configuration, automatically detecting the power requirements of the connected PD (Powered Device) while maintaining full Gigabit Ethernet speeds.
