The DK31C3HDPD is a professional hybrid docking station designed to provide a universal workstation solution for mixed-laptop fleets. It addresses the complexity of deploying hardware across various laptop generations by supporting both USB-C and USB-A host connections. This dock is a critical asset for hot-desking and corporate environments, enabling triple 4K 60Hz display configurations through a combination of DisplayLink technology and DP Alt Mode.

Technically, the station delivers 85W of USB Power Delivery to charge workstations while supporting a high-speed 10Gbps data bus. It features a unique “mix-and-match” video interface with three DisplayPort and three HDMI ports, allowing IT teams to standardize on a single dock regardless of the monitors in use. For security-conscious environments, it includes a screw-locking host port, built-in K-slots, and mounting holes for secure desk or wall integration.

Optimized for professional productivity, the dock includes six downstream USB ports, including two front-facing fast-charge ports (BC 1.2) that operate even when a laptop is disconnected. It is fully compatible with Windows, macOS (including Apple M1/M2/M3), and ChromeOS. Users connecting via USB-A should note that charging is not supported over that interface, and Video 1 output will be disabled as it requires native DP Alt Mode.
