The StarTech IES1G52UPDIN is a ruggedized unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch designed for harsh environments requiring reliable power and data distribution. It addresses the connectivity needs of IP surveillance, automated factory floors, and outdoor wireless access points by providing four Gigabit PoE+ ports and one dedicated Gigabit copper uplink in a compact, durable chassis.

Engineered for extreme conditions, this switch features an IP30-rated metal housing capable of withstanding temperatures from -40°C to 75°C (-40°F to 167°F). It delivers up to 30W of power per port (PoE+ 802.3at) with a total power budget of 120W, utilizing redundant dual 48-56V DC terminal block power inputs to ensure continuous operation in the event of a primary power source failure.

Optimized for DIN rail or wall-mount deployment in industrial control cabinets and edge locations, the IES1G52UPDIN provides high-level ESD and surge protection. It is not recommended for office-only environments where standard non-hardened switches are sufficient, nor for deployments requiring managed Layer 2 features like VLAN tagging or IGMP snooping.
