The TB310G2 is a high-performance Thunderbolt 3 to 10GbE network adapter designed for IT professionals, creative editors, and power users who require high-speed wired connectivity on Thunderbolt-enabled laptops. It provides a dedicated 10GBASE-T RJ45 port, enabling seamless access to high-performance storage (NAS/SAN) and high-speed network backbones.

Built with the Marvell AQC107S chipset and the Intel Alpine Ridge JHL6340 controller, the adapter supports multi-gigabit (NBASE-T) technology. This allows for intermediate speeds of 2.5Gbps and 5Gbps over existing Cat5e or Cat6 cabling, as well as full 10Gbps speeds over Cat6a. The bus-powered design eliminates the need for an external power supply, making it an ideal tool for field technicians and mobile workstations.

The unit features a rugged aluminum chassis that utilizes passive cooling for completely silent (0dB) operation while managing the thermal demands of high-speed data transfer. It is fully compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 ports on Windows and macOS. It is not compatible with standard USB-C ports that do not support the Thunderbolt protocol.
